Uniformity is key to a strong corporate (graphic) identity. You may have a beautiful logo design, and several eye-catching stationery pieces, but if those items can't be identified with one another the people you are trying to reach may become confused.

Looking at competitors' identities is also involved to determine what they have works or doesn't, and what aspects of their identity program helps them appear unique. Once the research is completed the designs are developed. After the optimum amount of tweaking of the design and further research, the resulting design will be a strong graphic identity that gets a company remembered.
