TYPES OF WEBSITES:

CUSTOM WEBSITE: A custom website is a site that is developed completely from scratch. A completely new design and inclusion of all images and data needed to produce a unique and complete internet presentation.

E-COMMERCE SITE: Website that sell products or services online. These sites can be developed to display single items/services, or display complete catalogs that allow visitors to browse through, select then purchase through an online "Shopping Cart." ILTD Design Services is a design studio not computer programmers. As such, we can design your website and build an online catalog. However, we utilize PAYPAL (www.paypal.com) for the purchase section of the site. Visit the paypal site for details, or go to the ILTD STORE for an example.

BRANDING: This is a site that is utilized to promote a new company, product and/or service. This site is geared directly to help visitors remember who and what you are and offer.

PROMOTIONAL: Much the same as branding, this site promotes several items or services. This site is also usually updated periodically to help promote a new or special item or service.

INTERNET PRESENCE: A website that is geared to attempt to be listed high in search engines based on keywords chosen. This site is usually not heavy in graphics, but is saturated in text that will help the site rise up in rankings.

PRODUCT DEMO: A site that displays a demo of a particular product or products. Typically this site will list the products, specifications, etc. Many times online videos or Flash is utilized to help display the demo.

INFORMATIONAL: A website used to display information on a particular subject. These include news portals, tutorials, home improvements, etc.

CATALOG (non E-commerce): Sites with on online dynamic catalog displaying products or services. These sites DO NOT employ back-end programming for shopping carts and check out areas.
